Battle of obesity in Kuwait..What is the solution

Obesity in Kuwait has reached epidemic stage imagine that 3 out of 4 Kuwaitis are either overweight or obese. In my practice I often come to tears daily watching people who have diabetes, cardiac problems and have reached very late stage due to poor nutritional management all in very young ages L

According to this article food is a major part of Kuwaitis routine . No one can deny that but how can we overcome this obstacle.
Family gathering r on food, dining out is very common. We always see each others on food.
Ok u all knows we have this problem. What can we do??
Simply be creative. Just get out of the box and make healthy food ur new trend.
The reason that any fast food restaurants are popular is because you pay them to buy junk that harm ur body.
Many restaurant now days offer options that r healthier due to worldwide demand on healthier food so it is ur decision to choose wisely.(a post on choosing right food in restaurant is in my to do list..coming v.soon)
Another thing is family gathering “wa ma adrak ma family gathering” people just compete on bringing more and more food which is often unhealthy. Try some healthy yummy recipes and ideas and believe me u will do ur family real good and every one will ask u for ur recipes .

The people just love it so I tried to make it for another gathering by myself and people even loved it more and it was much cheaper because people argued with me on how expensive the edible arrangement bouquet is this cost me a little over 10 kd and people even loved it more than the one I bought




This in one idea am leaving u with now, many more r coming in the way.. so plz next time u think cake switch it for a healthy alternative of fruits or vegetable the thing we nutritionist always recommend.
